Campus Tour

University Facility Tour for Japanese High School Students

The Office of Public Relations conducts university facilitie tours for high schools students and groups that are interested in the University of Tsukuba. Applications can be made at the Office of Public Relations.

NEWS

The campus tour for 2012 has been startred.
Please apply for the campus tour according to the following procedure.

Information 

Days/hours Hours: 9:30-12:15, 13:15-16:30 (Monday-Friday)
Each tour takes about two hours, however the tour will be extended by 60 minutes for individuals or groups who wish to have lunch at the student cafeteria.
Holidays: National holidays, year-end and new year holidays, summer holidays, and university festivals
Group Size 10 to 80 participants per group
Application Two tour courses are available. Select one of the two courses and apply through the "Online Kengaku Yoyaku Uketsuke System [Online application for campus tour].
"Kengaku Nitteihyo [Tour Schedule]" will be sent to you when your schedule has been processed.

Remarks Applications can be made one month before your preferred date. Applications through travel agents are not accepted.

* Contact us in the following cases:

  • You don't receive any reply from the Office of Public Relations at the University of Tsukuba after three days from the application.
  • Your preferred schedule is not longer available for reservation and your are unable to fill in the online application, plese inquire us.

Tour Courses

Activities Facilities
A Course Two of the followings four activities:
- Viewing of the DVD on the university
- Tour of the University of Tsukuba Gallery
- Briefing of the university
- Tour of the University Library
(a one and a half hour tour)
B Course Two-hour tour course focused on the centers
Limited to second- and third-year high school students
*For individuals who wish to take a trial lesson, apply specifying which school or college they desire.
* Individuals who are not able to access to Online Application System, please call the Office of Public Relations (029.853.2063, 2064) and send fax (029.853.2014).

Tour courses

A Course (One and a half hour tour course), B Course (Two and a half tour course)
For first year high school students, PTA members, and others
