The University of Tsukuba established Doctoral Program "Early Completion Program" to support working individuals who hope to acquire a doctoral degree.
Under this program, working individuals who are capable or with research achievements can complete a three-year doctoral course in one year.
This program was established in 2007. In 2007, out of the enrollments of twenty-one, sixteen completed the program in one year. In 2008, the enrollment was twenty-one.
