**1 During the summer vacation for faculty and staff of the university, all the offices and departments will be closed (except for the university hospital).
**2 The schedule will be changed on the following days except for the evening classes at the Tokyo Campus.
* October 01, 2008 (Wednesday) (the University Foundation Anniversary): The classes will be held as scheduled
* May 09, 2008 (Friday): Tuesday classes will be held.
* October 15, 2008 (Wednesday): Monday classes will be held.
* November 06, 2008 (Thursday): Monday classes will be held.
* December 25, 2008 (Thursday): Tuesday classes will be held.

**3 Due to preparations for the University Festival, undergraduate afternoon classes (aster the 3rd period) will be suspended on October, 10 (Friday). Furthermore, undergraduate morning classes (1st and 2nd period) will be suspended on October 14 (Tuesday) for the post-festival clean-up.
**4 Due to the English and German proficiency tests, undergraduate classes (up to the 3rd period) will be suspended on February 24 (Tuesday), 2009 (Tue.)
**5 The date of health examinations will be decided at a later date. At each college/program, classes that coincide with the date and time of the health examination for that specific college/program will be suspended (except for the night classes at the Tokyo campus)
**6 The schedule for admission selection of undergraduate students will be decided at a later date. On that day, classes will suspended according to the time required for preparation and clean-up (except for the night classes at the Tokyo campus)
**7 The special measures related to the third trimester final examinations for students expected to graduate/complete their studies will be decided at a later date.
