| Course Overview | 本授業では、現在の世界がかかえているさまざまな環境問題から具体的な問題をひとつ取り上げ、その問題を解決するためのプロジェクトを計画する。授業はグループ演習を中心に進める。具体的には、政府開発援助などの国際協力プロジェクトで広く用いられているPCM（プロジェクト・サイクル・マネジメント）手法を用いて、テーマとして取り上げた環境問題に関して現状を分析し、問題の解決手段を考え、それをひとつのプロジェクトとして構成し、スケジュールや予算を見積もる。さらには、プロジェクト実施中の進捗モニタリングやプロジェクト評価についても演習を行なう。本授業の目的は、環境分野でリーダーシップを発揮することが期待されている学生諸君の問題発見能力、プロジェクト形成能力、プロジェクト実施能力を向上させることにある。 The participants of this course design a project for addressing one specific environmental issue which affects human health. The issue is selected by the participants from their interests. The project design method applied is PCM (Project Cycle Management) which is widely used in the international cooperation projects particularly in the ODA (Official Development Assistance) sector. The design process starts from the situation analysis and proceeds to finding the means of solutions for the problem. The participants structure their specific solutions in the form of a project including scheduling, cost estimation, monitoring and evaluation covering the PDCA (plan, do, check, action) cycle of a project. All works are carried out by group work. The objective of this course is to improve the participants’ capacity for problem finding, project formulation and project implementation. |
