International exchange in every field improves the level of learning, enriches education and trains people to have a more international outlook.
The University of Tsukuba accepts foreign professors, conducts exchange programs with foreign universities, and sends faculty members and students to foreign institutions. In addition, the University actively encourages inbound foreign students.

To further develop international research and education, the condition of international cooperation is published as policy paper.
Global 30
The University of Tsukuba is selected as a core university of the Project for Establishing Core Universities for Internationalization (Global 30), sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT).
Overseas Offices
The University of Tsukuba has five overseas offices in Tunis (Tunisia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Beijing (China), and Bonn (Germany).
