College of Engineering Systems

The College of Engineering Systems offers courses on latest technologies in a broad sense for those who wish to become engineers and researchers in the fields of design and realization of engineering systems. The students are encouraged to study mathematics, physics, and computer engineering, as well as introductory engineering systems in the first year. The curriculum emphasizes the experiments and exercises to enhance basic understanding of systems and design capability.
From the second year, the students take more advanced courses in one of the following four majors:
・ Intelligent Interactive Systems Major: Human-friendly systems using multimedia technologies
・ Intelligent System Technologies Major: Smart mechano-electronic systems including robots.
・ Engineering Mechanics Major: Environment-friendly, large-scale structural systems, such as construction and transportation systems.
・ Energy Engineering Major: Generation, conversion, transportation, and storage technologies in environment-conscious energy systems.
Proficiency in Japanese language is required to complete the undergraduate studies offered in this college.
