


Human sciences should be advanced more by association and cooperation of individual research areas on human, which is also necessary for solving the increasing human problems in near future. In response to the demand of the new era, the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences started in 2001. The graduate programs consist of 20 main fields (2 programs are master's program, 13 programs are 5-year consecutive doctoral program, and 2 programs are 3-year sectioned second part of doctoral program). They can be divided into the following 4 areas:

The Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences with 17 programs intends (1) to train students to become researchers who have excellent research capability to perform high-quality studies, and as well (2) to train students to become highly specialized professionals, both with a broad vision on humans based on the plenty of the multi-disciplinary knowledge of human body and mind.
