To Applicants for the "National Center Test for University Admissions for 2010" at the University of Tsukuba

 

Access
- Candidates coming by car or chartered bus (Please refer the PDF file below.)
Traffic restriction will take place in the Tsukuba Campus from January 16 to 17 (Saturday - Sunday)‚ 2009. Students are requested to get on and off vehicles at the nearest parking lot as parking or stopping cars on campus roads are prohibited. When driving on campus roads‚ please follow the directions of traffic controllers.

- Candidates coming by train or public bus (Please refer the PDF file below.)
In addition to regular bus services between JR Tsuchiura Station or Tsukuba Express (TX) Tsukuba Station and the Tsukuba Campus of the University of Tsukuba‚ special bus service will be running from January 16 to 17 (Saturday – Sunday)‚ 2010. Check your examination site on your examination admission slip so as not to miss the bus stop you should get off.

[Regarding mobile phones‚ watches]
The use of mobile phone or electronic devices of any kind that emit sound is strictly prohibited in classrooms‚ even during breaks. The use of clock function of mobile phones is also prohibited. Before entering the classroom‚ please switch off the power of your mobile phones and other electronic devices‚ or ensure that they are set to silent mode. In some mobile phones‚ alarm activates even the power is cut off. Regardless of types of mobile phones‚ all students are requested to turn off all alarm functions and switch off the power before storing the devices in their bags. Students who do not know how to turn off the alarm or how to cut off the power or who do not carry bags with them are requested to leave their devices to the office of entrance examination or to any proctor or other staff at the examination site with your identification number and name. Students who wear watches with alarm function are requested to turn off all alarm functions.

[Changes in schedule]
Please take note that for "Civics" which is scheduled on the first day and "Science 1" which is scheduled on the second day‚ the examination room doors will close at 9:00 instead of 9:10. Once the doors are closed‚ candidates will no longer be allowed to enter the examination room.
