No Smoking Campaign was held in front of the cafeteria in Medical Area on May 31‚ World No Tobacco Day. Questionnaires and quiz on tobacco‚ display of posters‚ handing out of pamphlets were held as part of the campaign. The period between May 31th and June 6th marks Japan's No Smoking Week. A total ban on smoking has been introduced in Medical Area since April 1‚ 2010. However‚ some people litter cigarette butts and empty cans around the area even now. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation on a ban on smoking in the area.
