Robot Suit HAL (R) appears at Kodomo Kasumigaseki Kengaku Day

"Kodomo Kasumigaseki Kengaku Day"‚ a kid-friendly event organized by the public relations section of the Ministry of Education‚ Culture‚ Sports‚ Science and Technology (MEXT)‚ was held on August 8 and 9. Demonstration of Robot Suit HAL (R)‚ Hybrid Assistive Limb produced by Professor Yoshiyuki Sankai of the University of Tsukuba‚ was conducted at the event.
A student wearing Robot Suit HAL (R) showed that he could lift a barbell of over 100 kg to children. The kids applauded him for the demonstration‚ and asked questions of him concerning the Robot Suit HAL (R).
Later‚ a commemorative photo was taken with Robot Suit HAL (R) and kids.
