Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony / Graduate School Commencement Ceremony for AY2023

The commencement ceremonies for the undergraduate school‚ graduate school and the Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School for the academic year 2023 were held at the University Hall on March 25. Graduating students included 2,116 undergraduate students, 2,180 graduate students, and 15 Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School students.

Although recently, as part of the protective measures against COVID-19, attendance has been limited to alumni and alumnae only, this year, family members of alumni and alumnae were invited to attend the event.

After degrees were conferred, the President's commencement address and acknowledgments by the student representative were given, and student commendations were presented. At the end of the ceremony, the University of Tsukuba Student Song "Hitachino-no" was performed for the graduates by the University of Tsukuba Orchestra and Mixed Chorus.
