①　Tell me about your career.

Filled with a rich background of my experiences in Japan, I returned to Tunisia. I have been recruited in an outstanding Tunisian Research Center called Water Research and Technologies Centre (CERTE), Ecopark Borj Cedria. My researches in my laboratory deal with Water Resource Management in particular. I am focusing on the problem of water quality/quantity and its effects on human health, agriculture production and socio-economic aspects. I am also working on the application of remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in environment field and for monitoring water resource. In addition, I collaborated on the organization of some events as the Tunisian-Japanese Symposium on Society, Science and Technology (TJASSST). Moreover, I am trying to share my experiences acquired in University of Tsukuba to my students and my colleagues. I still have significant collaboration with Japanese researchers.

②　When you reflect on University of Tsukuba, what do you think is the merit to study in University of Tsukuba?

(1) Along with the degree, I have learned so many things. In fact, life in Japan in general and at university of Tsukuba in particular was very fruitful. The facilities offered by the university certainly lead you to succeed in your research activities. Everything is planned from your arrival at the airport to graduation. The warm atmosphere in the laboratory conducted us to easy adaptation and to look for excellence.

(2) In addition to laboratory work, university of Tsukuba provides useful occasions for international students to meet and to be in touch with one other. Foreign students will also be given the opportunity to learn Japanese at the Center for Education of Global Communication（CEGLOC） in a friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, the Global Commons is also available to assist you in solving any problems you might face during your studies in Tsukuba.

(3) University of Tsukuba organized many events such as Sport days and festivals which are an opportunity to discover Japanese culture and their organizational skills and an appropriate chance to introduce your country to Japanese and to foreign students at the same time.
