The University of Tsukuba supported the 13th APEC-Khon Kaen University Conference

By support of the University of Tsukuba, the 13th APEC-Khon Kaen University Conference was held at Khon Kaen University from September 9, 2017 to September 12. It was the joint conference with International Conference for Educational Research. In total, 441 people participated including 70 participants from Indonesia, Philippines and South Africa, 20 from APEC economies and 7 participants from Japan. Mr. Takashi Morimoto (Elementary School, University of Tsukuba) and Prof. Hiroyuki Abe (Hokkaido University of Education) demonstrate their classes at the opening event.

13th APEC-Khon Kaen University Conference was held as the report meeting for the APEC HRDWG Lesson Study Project represented by Masami Isoda, PhD, Director of the Center for Research on International Cooperation in Educational Development (CRICED), University of Tsukuba and Maitree Inprasitha, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University. The participating economies reported the lesson study on the project in relation to the theme of Energy Efficiency, STEM Education, and Cross-Border lesson.
