An event to introduce club activities for international students who are entering the University of Tsukuba in October was held at the 30th Anniversary Hall on September 29. Club Activity Booths were set up by the Division of Student Welfare, Department of Student Affairs and the Global Commons. About 250 students including new students and currently enrolled international students visited the booths.

The following five clubs set booths on the day: Gasshodan Mukudori (Chorus club), Omochi Language Club (Language Exchange club), TED×U Tsukuba (English Presentation), Master Peace (Soccer club), and Nanshiki Yakyubu (Baseball club). At each booth, club members gave an overview of their activities to incoming international students.

The Global Commons intends to continue the efforts to meet the students' demands and to provide opportunities to promote exchange between Japanese and international students.
