Rector of UCLouvain visits President Nagata

Rector Luc Sels of UCLouvain made a courtesy visit to President Kyosuke Nagata on October 6, 2018.

UCLouvain is the best university in Belgium. Since a partnership agreement with the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences of the University of Tsukuba in 2011, academic exchange has been promoted and then in April 2018, the universities concluded a university-level partnership agreement aiming to promote exchanges in all fields taking advantage of the strengths of both universities.

Rector Luc Sels placed high expectation on students dispatch from our university with the predominantly high number of students from EU countries in regard to student exchange for the reasons why there is major in number of exchange students from EU countries. Taking the university-level partnership agreement as an opportunity, the two universities are expected to promote academic and research exchanges in the future.
