Shiori FUNAMIZU, University of Tsukuba Tennis Team member, won the 2019 Midwest Wheelchair Championships in the women's doubles final and singles semifinal

Shiori FUNAMIZU won first place in the 2019 Midwest Wheelchair Championships in the women's doubles final in the U.S. on July 17. She is a member of the University of Tsukuba Tennis Team and first-year undergraduate student of the School of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences of the University of Tsukuba. She also won second place in the women's singles


Shiori Funamizu's Comment

"I'm happy that I could win both in the singles and doubles for the first match this summer," said FUNAMIZU. "I had a good start for athletic meets in this season."
