Minister Jernej Pikalo of the Republic of Slovenia visits President Nagata

Dr. Jernej Pikalo, Minister for Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia and Dr. Ana POLAK PETRI?, PhD Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to Japan made a courtesy visit to President Nagata, Vice President BENTON Caroline F. (Global Affairs), Executive Officer Saburo Aoki, Executive Officer Jun Ikeda, and Executive Officer Osamu Ohneda on October 8.

In the visit, they exchanged opinions on student exchange programs and research collaboration in the future and touched on the topics of the Tsukuba Conference 2019 which was held from October 2 to 4 and Tsukuba as a science city.

The two countries are expected to expand exchanges in the future.
