Rector of the Uzbek State World Languages University visits President NAGATA

Rector Rahimov G'anisher and Mr. Nizamov Anvar of the Uzbek State World Languages University (UZSWLU) made a courtesy visit to President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President BENTON Caroline F. (Global Affairs), Executive Officer AOKI Saburo, Professor USUYAMA Toshinobu of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Russia and Central Asia Regional Director), and Professor ONO Masaki of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.


In the visit, the discussion about future education and research exchanges based on the academic exchange agreement between the Republican Scientific-Practical Centre of Developing the Innovational Methods for Teaching Foreign Languages under the UZSWLU and the University of Tsukuba in July was made. Rector Rahimov also provided a lecture titled "A New Perspective on Silk Road Research" in which he talked about the history of the exchange between Uzbekistan and Japan, and showed his vision for future exchanges. The two countries are expected to promote exchanges in the future.
