Leader Training for the Extracurricular Activity Groups for AY 2019

A total of 220 participants from 137 extracurricular activity groups of the University of Tsukuba attended the Leader Training for Extracurricular Activity Groups November 30 and December 1 at the National Akagi Youth Friendship Center.
This training was hosted by the Student Support Office, and planned and managed on a voluntary basis by the representatives from three student associations (San-Kei), which is made up of three extracurricular activity groups: culture, physical, and art. It is launching its 44th year, which aims for the leaders of each club and circle of next year to enhance their qualities and abilities.


Under the theme this year, "We help each other when in need", Associate Professor OTSUKA Yasumasa, Faculty of Human Sciences gave a lecture on useful communication skills for leaders, furthermore, a unique role-play and a workshop designed by the San-Kei took place. New leaders could learn the ways of each club and extracurricular activity, and develop a mental attitude as a leader.
