Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan visits President NAGATA

A delegation led by H.E. Dr. Sardor Uktamovich UMURZAKOV, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan made a courtesy visit to President NAGATA Kyosuke, Professor USUYAMA Toshinobu of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Russia and Central Asia Regional Director), Professor ONO Masaki of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Deputy Director TANAKA Kentaro (Global Affairs). Attendees from Uzbekistan are H.E. Dr. Sardor Uktamovich Umurzakov, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Mr. Laziz Kudratov, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, H.E. Mr. Gayrat Fazilov, The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Mr. K. Kamalov, Director of Agency for Attracting of Foreign Investments, and Mr. O. Khamraev, Director General, Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.


In the visit, views on collaboration in higher education between Japan and Uzbekistan in terms of human resources development through developing higher education, as the first priority of Uzbekistan were exchanged. The two countries are expected to promote exchanges in the future.
