Meeting between Vice Presidents and Members of the Student Representative Conference (Zendaikai)

A meeting between vice presidents and members of the Student Representative Conference (Zendaikai) was held on December 4.


This annual meeting aims at exchanging views on problems associated with education and campus life and reflecting opinions of students on university operations. A total of 43 students and 66 faculty and staff members, including vice presidents, dean of Schools, chair of colleges and related staff, talked for about 2 hours. Board members in attendance were Vice President SHIMIZU Satoshi (Education), Vice President SATOH Shinobu (Student Affairs) and Vice President BENTON Caroline F. (Global Affairs).


Mr. SEBE Fuma, Chairman of the Zendaikai, first gave an interim report on its activities, with Vice Head of the Student Office MIZUTANI Tetsuya serving as a chairperson. All attendees then exchanged opinions under the topic of "Class opening on Saturday for easing traffic during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics" provided by the Vice Chair of the Zendaikai, Mr. KARUBE Ryota. The meeting was closed with greetings by Vice Presidents.
