Japan Graduates Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) donates masks for Malaysian students and alumni in Japan

The Japan Graduates Association of Malaysia (JAGAM), through its president Gary Tang, spearheaded a mask donation campaign for the benefit of Malaysian students and alumni in Japan as a gesture of its gratitude and goodwill to Japanese universities and other institutions of learning for supporting the studies of Malaysians in Japan. President Nagata received the 450 masks allocated for the University of Tsukuba on May 21.

There are currently about 30 students from Malaysia who are enrolled at the university as of May 2020, and the donated masks will be distributed among them.

Our university intends to continue to strengthen its partnership with JAGAM to develop attractive educational programs for Malaysian students, as well as to further strengthen the relationship, as a higher education institution, between the two countries.
