Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan visits President NAGATA

A delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Gayrat Fasilov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan, made a courtesy visit to President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President for Global Affairs BENTON Caroline F., Associate Professor YAMAMOTO Yukiko of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. KAJIYAMA Yuji who is the International Administrator of Nippon-Foundation Central Asia-Japan Human Resource Development Project (NipCA), Head of the Office of Global Initiatives SUZUKI Hiroyuki on November 26.


During this visit, they had a discussion about the future inter-university exchange between Japan and Uzbekistan and affirmed cooperative relationships' continuous development.
The University of Tsukuba has concluded exchange agreements with renowned universities in Uzbekistan, such as the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies and University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and has exchanged students for a long time. This visit was a great opportunity to further promote exchanges between Uzbekistan and the University of Tsukuba.
