The commencement ceremony for the undergraduate school‚ graduate school‚ and the Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School for the academic year 2020 were held at the University Hall on March 25. Graduating students included 2,205 undergraduate students, 2,169 graduate students, and 10 Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School students.

This year's commencement ceremony was held with only attendance of graduating students as part of the protective measures against COVID-19. At the ceremony, after degrees were conferred, President's commencement address and acknowledgments by the student representative were given, and student commendations were presented.

At the end of the ceremony, celebrating the graduates' future, a farewell performance was given by the University of Tsukuba Orchestra.
