Exchange Meeting between the President and Students

A meeting between the president and students was held. We held an exchange meeting between the president and students.


This annual exchange meeting is held to provide an opportunity for the president and students to interact with each other. The social event was held on October 26 for undergraduate students and on November 22 for graduate students.


The dialogue meeting was facilitated by the President's Office Chief of Staff TAKENAKA Yoshihiko and attended by President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President and Executive Director for Education KATO Mitsuyasu, Vice President for Student Affairs OTA Kei, Vice President and Executive Director for Collaborative Research KANAHO Yasunori, Vice President and Executive Director for Finance and Facilities NARA Satoshi, Director of the Student Support Office KAGA Nobuhiro, Director of the Counseling and Psychological Services(CPS) SUGIE Masashi and Director of the Office of International Exchange Support SAKURAI Takeaki. The exchange meeting for undergraduate students was attended by students from each school and college, and Degree Programs Taught in English, while the exchange meeting for graduate students was attended by students from each degree program. Students were asked to submit topics in advance, and President NAGATA and his staff engaged in a lively exchange of opinions with the students on topics such as social issues, career paths, diversity, and internationalization. After the dialogue meeting, time was set aside for the president and students to freely talk with each other, and this was an opportunity for the students to talk in a friendly atmosphere with the president and vice presidents.


For the students, it was a meaningful exchange meeting as they were able to have a direct interaction with the president and vice presidents.
