Ukrainian Students Join Study Tour. Touch the Culture and Scenery of Ibaraki Pref.

A study bus tour was held on March 15, attended by Ukrainian students studying at the University of Tsukuba and Ukrainian people living in Ibaraki Prefecture. They experienced painting Kasama Pottery and visited Kairakuen Garden in Mito, now in the season of ume (plum) blossoms. For international students who are usually on campus, it was an excellent opportunity to experience the culture and scenery of their local - Ibaraki Prefecture. About 60 people participated in the bus tour, including Japanese tutors. The tour was made possible by a grant from the Nippon Foundation.
