President NAGATA Visits Taiwan

On April 21, we traveled to National Central University (Taiwan) to sign the academic and student exchanges and cooperation agreement. With the signing of this agreement, active student and research exchange between the two universities is expected. We also hold an academic symposium on the aerospace field and visited the college of Hakka studies.

On April 22, The 20th Joint Mini-Symposium in Cell and Molecular Biology was held on the 3rd floor of the Life Science Building, National Taiwan University. This symposium was a mini-symposium accompanying the Long-distance Course, a collaborative course among the University of Tsukuba, Kyoto University, and National Taiwan University, bringing together students and faculty members of the three universities who usually meet via the web. From the University of Tsukuba, President NAGATA Kyosuke, Dr. NISHIMURA Ken (Institute of Medicine), two graduate students of the University's Ph.D.Program in Human Biology, and three graduate students of the Ph.D.Program in Humanics gave presentations.
