University of Tsukuba Leadership Showcases Global Engagement at India International Science Festival 2023

On January 19 - 20, 2024, President NAGATA and Prof. OHNEDA (Executive Officer, and Director General of Bureau of Global Initiatives) of University of Tsukuba were invited by the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) - India to the India International Science Festival 2023 (IISF 2023).

President NAGATA was one of 20 invited guests from higher education institutions and other eminent personalities from around the world. He gave a presentation providing insights into Japan's science and technology policy, shedding light on the University of Tsukuba's groundbreaking initiatives.

The occasion served as a platform for fostering relationships and exploring future opportunities for collaboration between the University of Tsukuba and Indian institutions.

The potential for further engagement and partnerships in science and technology between the two nations is anticipated, paving the way for innovative research and academic exchanges in the coming years.
