Ambassador of Mexico to Japan and a Delegation from Universities in Baja California Visit President NAGATA

On April 16, H.E. Ms. Melba Pría, Ambassador of United Mexican States to Japan, and a delegation from universities in Baja California visited our Tokyo Campus and discussed with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President/ Executive Director IKEDA Jun (Global Affairs), and Executive Officer OHNEDA Osamu (Director General, Bureau of Global Initiatives).

During the meeting, Ambassador Pría first gave an overview of Baja California state and the purpose of the delegation's visit. President NAGATA then introduced the history of our university and our cutting-edge research. Afterward, the delegation members gave an overview of their respective institutions, and all exchanged their views on the possibility of cooperation between the institutions and our university.

Promotion of exchange between institutions in Baja California state and our university is expected in the future.
