Notice: Closure of University Offices from August 12 to 15

All offices at University of Tsukuba, except for the University of Tsukuba Hospital and University of Tsukuba, Malaysia (UTMy), will be closed from August 12 to 15 to provide university staff a summer holiday and to save electricity on campus.

Offices issuing certificates will also be closed during this period. If you need to acquire a certificate, please inquire at the related office prior to the closure period. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Closure Period

August 12 (Tuesday), to August 15 (Friday), 2025
- All offices at the University of Tsukuba will be closed during this period.
- Offices at the University of Tsukuba Hospital will be open as usual.
- However, organizations working Tuesday to Saturday will also be closed on August 16 (Saturday), which is a working day.
- the University of Tsukuba Gallery and the University of Tsukuba Art Space will be closed from August 9 (Saturday) to August 17 (Sunday).

* Please take precautions to prevent heatstroke, as air conditioning will be switched off at the university during the summer holiday period.
