TUAN Reunion Held in Brazil

On Sunday, February 8, the "TUAN in Brazil" meetup was held in São Paulo, Brazil. From University of Tsukuba, President NAGATA Kyosuke and Vice President for Global Affairs OHNEDA Osamu attended the event. Six alumni and former international students residing in Brazil also joined, deepening their connections with one another.

The Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network (TUAN) is an alumni network launched in October 2023 to connect overseas alumni associations and alumni--including Japanese graduates--with University of Tsukuba.

President NAGATA thanked the participants' attendance and shared memories of their study abroad experiences in Tsukuba together with the attendees. The event was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout.
A brief explanation of TUAN was also provided to the participants. Moving forward, we will continue working to strengthen the network and promote exchange among alumni in Brazil.

TTUAN events will continue to be take place in various countries around the world, and further activities in Brazil are greatly anticipated.
