TUAN in Vietnam Was Held

On September 6, TUAN in Vietnam was held in Ho Chi Minh City, with the attendance of Vice President for Global Affairs OHNEDA Osamu, and Director NOMURA Nakao of the International Exchange Support Office, among others.

TUAN (Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network) is an alumni association network established in October 2023 that connects the university with overseas alumni organizations and alumni (including Japanese).

Nine alumni and members of University of Tsukuba community came together for the event. Through introductions and updates on their lives and activities, participants reminisced about their time at the University of Tsukuba and shared stories about where life has taken them since graduation. The gathering provided a warm and welcoming opportunity to reconnect and strengthen ties with one another.

TUAN alumni gatherings are planned to be held in various countries around the world in the future.
