The Fall Welcome Event "TsukuKoi 2026" Held

The welcome event for international students, "TsukuKoi 2026", was held under the sponsorship of the All Colleges Students' Representative Council (ACSRC) commonly known as "Zendai-kai" at the University of Tsukuba.

This event was initiated in 2022 by Zendai-kai in response to requests from international students enrolling in the fall semester for a welcome event similar to the freshman welcome festival (Shinkan-sai), which is traditionally held in Spring. This year marked the fifth edition of the event.

Following the Fall Entrance Ceremony, the event took place in the foyer in front of the auditorium, the hall, and the foyer in front of the University Hall. International students newly enrolled in the fall semester had the opportunity to interact with student organizations and fellow students through booth exhibitions by 14 organizations and stage performances by three groups.
