Advantages of Studying at the University of Tsukuba in My Career and Life
Studying at the University of Tsukuba was a meaningful journey that greatly contributed to both my professional and personal development. During my time there, I had the opportunity to deepen my academic knowledge and strengthen my professional expertise, which has strongly shaped my career path. Today, I work as a specialist in the environmental field, particularly in waste management. The knowledge and experience gained at Tsukuba has supported my contributions to the development of national policies as well as international cooperation activities. Through these efforts, I aim to help partners in Vietnam further improve institutional frameworks and promote the application of new technologies in environmental management.
My Fondest Memories as a Student
Beyond academic growth, living in Tsukuba allowed me to experience the richness of Japanese culture and lifestyle. I discovered new interests such as enjoying Hanami, Hanabi, hiking in the mountains, and exploring the beauty of nature. These experiences not only brought balance to my academic life but also helped me appreciate the harmony between people and nature that is deeply rooted in Japanese culture.
Equally important were the friendships and connections formed during my time at Tsukuba. Interacting with classmates, researchers, and friends from many different countries created a vibrant international environment and built lasting relationships that continue to inspire collaboration and mutual support. I could not forget the potluck party with labmates where I introduced Vietnamese cusines and enjoyed international foods with emotional music and laughter. My time at the University of Tsukuba remains one of the most valuable and memorable chapters of my life. When I return to Vietnam, I often think of Tsukuba as my second home and always hope to come back when I have the chance.
