Senior High School at Sakado

This affiliated high school was mainly established to research vocational education for late secondary education. However, in 1994, as it approached its 50th anniversary, it was transformed into Japanese first "Integrated Course" high school to serve as The Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture's prototype for promoting high school education reform.

The school has been involved with practical research on various themes associated with comprehensive curricula. This research results are released to visiting trainees from throughout Japan, playing a leading role as a pioneer of the integrated course.
