●Suspension of certificate issuance service in Fiscal Year 2026
The service of certificate issuance will
be suspended as following schedule.
The mail service also will be suspended during the period.
Therefore, Issue of certificate(s) by mail may take longer
than usual around the schedule.

Other Certificates
- ・In case you request for a certificate other than the university specified form, it would take about 1-3 weeks to issue a certificate. Please contact the address listed under "Inquiries" in advance when you need advice.
- ・If you have any questions about syllabus, please contact each the Academic Service Office of college/school to which you belonged.
Number of Days Required for Issuance
- ・There is no issuance fee.
- ・Business days are weekdays only.
- ・The issuance of certificates may take longer than stated above, during the year-end and New Year holidays, the Golden Week holidays, Summer Recess, and the university's busy seasons from January to April. Please make sure to apply well in advance considering processing time.
- ・Certifications cannot be issued immediately during the temporary halt of the university's web system.
- ・The number of days required for issuance does not include the days taken for delivery.
How to Apply
You can request and receive certificates at the Administration Center or by mail.
* Please be informed that applications by telephone, fax, and email will not be accepted.
In-person Application
Application forms are available at the inquiry window. Please bring an identification card (like a driver's license card) with you, for ID purpose.

(1) Request for Issuance of Certificates
Please request after filling out the requisition form. The form is downloadable from the link below.

(2) Self-addressed Envelope
In case send to the applicant lives in Japan, If you wish to receive the certificates by mail, you are asked to bear the postage charge incurred. Be sure to enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. Please calculate the postage cost by yourself, referring to the website of the Japan Post. Also offer express mail and Letter Pack services.

- 1 confidential envelope: 5g (Certificates will not be sealed unless it is specified in above.)
- * Please make sure to put enough postage stamps on an envelope.
- The following information is for your reference.
- A graduate diploma: 1 sheet of paper
- A Japanese transcript: 1-2 sheets of paper
- An English transcript: 1-3 sheets of paper
- * We would like you to ask to understand beforehand that we cannot respond to cases such as not including the reply envelope or an accident during the delivery.
(3) Receiving Certificates by Proxy
A letter of proxy is needed to let a proxy
receive your certifications or to send an envelope addressed to the
proxy. The letter of proxy must be written in the applicant's
original handwriting with his or her signature and seal. (Format:

When the proxy comes to receive a certificate at the Inquiry window
(number 2), his or her identification card (like a driver's license
card) is needed for ID purpose.

necessary matters in any format.(Style Free)
(4) Regarding applications from overseas
If you have a proxy (family/friends) in Japan, we
recommend that asking them for your application. Please refer
above.
If you do not have a proxy, the postage costs will be paid by
the applicant. In such a case, send us one of the following items and
the completed acquisition form.
Make sure to include a return envelope that has written your name and address (Mailing address).
- ・An EMS (Express Mail Service) envelope and Japanese stamps covering the postage.
- * Please check the acceptance status and EMS rates on the Japan Post website in advance before applying.
- * Please note that the university will prepare the EMS label, so please include a note clearly stating the delivery address.
- ・A self-addressed envelope with an international reply coupon (IRC)
- * International Reply coupons:
- It is like a voucher common to each country and can be redeemed for the country's stamps on the receiving side.
- For details, please check the homepage of Japan Post and the post office of each country.
- * Please check the Japan Post website for more details.
- If you will use the private courier company (FedEx, DHL, etc.), the invoice that has paid transportation charges is required and the envelope the company provided.
- Also, the University is not responsible for any loss or damage caused during the delivery.
