Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony / Graduate School Commencement Ceremony for AY2025

Undergraduate and Graduate School Commencement Ceremonies for AY2025 will be held as below. Please check back for updates as changes may occur.

1 Date: Wednesday, March 25, 2026

Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony (Program)

1st Session (9:30～10:15)
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.

- School of Humanities and Culture
- School of Social and International Studies
- School of Human Sciences
- School of Science and Engineering
- Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School

2nd Session (11:30～12:15)
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.

- School of Life and Environmental Sciences
- School of Informatics
- School of Medicine and Health Sciences
- School of Physical Education, Health and Sport Sciences
- School of Art and Design

Graduate School Commencement Ceremony (Program)

13:30～14:25
* Doors to the venue will open 40 minutes before the start of each ceremony.

2 Venue: University Hall (Auditorium, etc.), University of Tsukuba

* If the main venue (Auditorium) is full or participants arrive after the ceremonies start, they will be guided to other venues (Hall, etc.) where they can watch the ceremonies via live broadcast.

3 Note: 

• - Graduates are requested to bring their student ID, as it is required at the entrance for admission. If they do not have their student ID, please present the screen displayed after logging in to TWINS.
• - Due to the limited capacity of the venue, family members are restricted to 2 attendees per graduate.
  They will be able to watch the ceremonies via live broadcast in other rooms in the University Hall but will not be allowed to enter the main venue (Auditorium). Please note that they may be guided to standing area or may not be able to enter the University Hall, if the venue reaches full capacity.
• - Parking space is strictly limited. We would appreciate it if you could use public transportation.

Access

• - To reach the University of Tsukuba, please see "Access to Tsukuba Campus".
• - The nearest bus stop is "Daigakukaikan-mae".
  * About 15 minutes from Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal adjacent to TX Tsukuba Station by the "Tsukuba Daigaku Junkan (University of Tsukuba Campus Circular)" bus (clockwise).

Livestream

The ceremonies will be livestreamed on YouTube.
Please note that we will be filming the ceremonies, including the audience, during the livestream.
Details regarding the livestream will be posted on this page later.

Notice to Current Students

Due to the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony / Graduate School Commencement Ceremony for AY2025 to be held on March 25, 2026, the area around the University Hall will be very crowded with graduates, so we ask that current students refrain from stopping by the University Hall.
