How to take the orientation online

Please check the schedule of your educational organization (Undergraduates / Graduate Schools) and attend the orientation.

① The following is a brief description of the three systems that are especially important for taking online courses and orientations. For more information, check "Online class guidance."

  • Manaba (Learning Management System)
This system has course pages for each orientation and class, where you can watch videos and materials from the orientation and classes. Detailed instructions and assignment submission for each course may also be done through this system.
  • TWINS (Educational Information System)
This system enables students to register for classes and view their grades.
  • KdB (Curriculum Development Support System)
This system enables students to search for and view course syllabi and information on all classes. To understand how to use KDB, read "6. Viewing syllabi using KdB" in the "ICT Guide."

*In order to use the above systems (manaba and TWINS), you need your initial password card for "Unified Authentication System."

About Distribution of the Unified Authentication System Password Card
Students who belong to organizations that plan to distribute the materials face-to-face should pick them up after Tuesday, April 5, when the materials will be distributed by the respective organizations. Please check the schedule (Undergraduates / Graduate Schools)to confirm whether the materials will be distributed in the face-to-face meeting or not. If you belong to an organization that distributes the materials face-to-face and are unable to come to the university due to the spread of the new coronavirus, etc., please check the schedule for each organization and contact the contact listed in the schedule by the due date, indicating that you are unable to come to the university and the reason, your name, examination number, and current address (mailing address).
If you cannot find the contacts of your organization on the schedule, please click here.

In case of undelivered unified the card
If you belong to an organization that distributes the cards other than face-to-face and your Unified Authentication Initial Password Card has not arrived by the scheduled orientation date, please check each organization's schedule (Undergraduates / Graduate Schools) and write your name, exam number, and current address (mailing address) along with the information that your Unified Authentication Initial Password Card has not arrived, and send the card to the address listed in the schedule.
If you cannot find the contacts of your organization on the schedule, please click here.
